The relaxation exercise was soothing to listen to. I liked the rainbow mediation concept where you concentrate on the colors. I have never heard of that before. I felt a little funny saying out loud, “I feel centered”. Perhaps because I do not feel that yet inside. I like the meditation on the aqua blue light that represents goals in life. I do believe my life has a purpose even though I’m not quite sure what it is.
Hi Denise,
ReplyDeleteThis blogging thing is new to me so hopefully you get this comment :).
I really enjoyed reading about your self-evaluations. Thank you for your personal reflection about where you are in life right now at 36. Remember that stability is not always measured by a partner and kids. I am a perfect example. I am almost 35 and been married for 10 years with 2 wonderful boys. On the outside everything looks "stable", but in reality I have not been happy. Your positive outlook for the future is very encouraging. Yoga is a great way to clear your mind. I have also incorporated meditation into my daily routine which has helped, too. It sounds like you have the right idea with your physical health, and your spiritual health is positive. I with my spiritual life could compare.
Thanks again for your reflections!

Hi Denise,
ReplyDeleteI am glad we are in class together. It is so important to find your spiritual center. When you connect with the greater universe you feel a part of something bigger than yourself and so it is like you can move into a new awareness of who you are. That your actions affect everyone and in turn it is possible for everyone else to affect you. Finding the spiritual aspect of your life will help you define your own beliefs, as well as understanding what your devine purpouse is. I have gone on many fasting, cleansing and spiritual quests because one builds on the other. You can only recieve what you are ready at the very time you are ready for it. Seek and Ye shall find ask and the door will be open wise person from long ago said these words.
